The 10x16 inch is the size between a mouse pad and a desk mat. It gives a mouse plenty of runway, fits a 60% or 65% keyboard alongside it, and slides into a laptop bag. A full-size keyboard is about 17" wide, so no. Step up to 12x18 or 14x24 for full keyboards.
